Are we prepared for natural disasters in a future of changing climate?

Vietnam faces significant threats from natural disasters, especially in the context of climate change. This manual is designed to support teachers and students develop awareness of these threats and increase their resilience to disasters and climate change. It includes a series of learning activities, fact sheets to support lesson planning, and handouts to provide students in classrooms.

It is specifically intended to complement the government’s national strategy on disaster preparedness, and to be used alongside Live and Learns ABC Handbook on Climate Change and the Teaching Manual on Climate Change Education.
